D365 – Install Plugin Registration

Plugin Registration is used to register and manage plugins. If you prefer not to install it separately, you can directly install and use it within

Installation Method 1

Access via NuGet

NuGet Gallery | Microsoft.CrmSdk.XrmTooling.PluginRegistrationTool 9.1.0.199

Download package

Change the Archive File Extension

Rename the downloaded file extension to .zip, and then extract its contents. The Plugin Registration tool can be found in the Tools folder.

Installation Method 2

Create Folder

Example:D:\Dynamics_365_Development_Tools\pluginsTool

Powershell

Open PowerShell and navigate to: D:\Dynamics_365_Development_Tools\pluginsTool

Run the Commands

First, run the following command:

$sourceNugetExe = "https://dist.nuget.org/win-x86-commandline/latest/nuget.exe"
$targetNugetExe = ".\nuget.exe"
Remove-Item .\Tools -Force -Recurse -ErrorAction Ignore
Invoke-WebRequest $sourceNugetExe -OutFile $targetNugetExe
Set-Alias nuget $targetNugetExe -Scope Global -Verbose
